Anesthesia is a common problem created by acid reflux, in a situation where some stomach contents are forced back into the esophagus. It produces irritation in the lower chest.

Constant acid reflux, which is more than twice a week, is called gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Heartburn then feels when the stomach acid comes back to the esophagus, a pipe that takes food from the mouth to the stomach. Heartburn is a symptom of GERD.

Reason

Occasional heartburn is normal and rarely is an important cause of anxiety.

The result of recurrent acid reflux is in the diagnosis of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD or GORD) and can have serious consequences for health and may indicate other underlying health issues.

Gastroesophageal reflux disease is seen in people of all ages, and this is often due to lifestyle factors, such as obesity, low levels of smoking and exercise.

Symptoms

Symptoms of heartburn are quite clear for most sufferers. The most common is the feeling of heat or heat, sometimes due to irritation, chest and throat, stomach acids.

Other symptoms include:

1) Burning between the chest.
2) Increasing pain, possibly reaching the jaw.
3) Pain like burning and indigestion
4) Foul odor, tart taste in mouth.


The Treatment

The main treatment of repeated heartburn due to gastroesophageal reflux disease is to reduce the production of stomach acids.

Lifestyle treatment can help prevent or reduce heartburn.

Suggestions taken by researchers from physicians include:

1) Follow a healthy diet, with a limited fat intake
2) Avoid eating before lying and sit straight while eating
3) Avoid heavy lifting and stress
4) Monitoring and abstaining from alcohol, caffeine, spicy food, whole cream milk, soft drinks such as soft drinks, and acidic food like tomato, lemon, or orange juice.
5) Losing weight, if appropriate
6) Avoid smoking
7) Staying fit through exercise
8) eating small meals, more often
9) Reviewing existing medicines

All of these have not been supported by research. If they are, they may mean that few people need to use medication


During Pregnancy

Due to hormonal changes and suppressing the child against the stomach, anger and indigestion are common in pregnancy.

Changes in diet and lifestyle can often help in removing symptoms.

The American Pregnancy Association suggests:

1) Five to six small meals throughout the day
2) Do not lie within an hour of eating
3) Avoiding fatty and spicy food

Before eating, it may be helpful to eat some yogurt or to drink some milk, possibly with a teaspoon of honey.


Treatment

In addition to lifestyle changes, medication can be used to reduce heartburn:

1) Antacid
2) Proton-pump inhibitors (PPI)
3) Histamine-2 blockers

However, they can adversely affect.
