Guidelines for doctors list the following measures that can help patients keep healthy blood pressure:

1) Keep the weight of a healthy body.
2) Eat a diet rich in fruits, vegetables and low-fat dairy products.
3) Cut sodium, or salt into the diet.
4) Do regular aerobic exercises, such as fast walking, at least 30 minutes in most days of the week.
5) Moderate alcohol consumption. Men should drink less than two alcoholic beverages a day. Low weight women and men should drink a maximum of alcohol in a day.

Raising these steps can reduce the risk of health problems.
