Symptoms of back pain

There may be many symptoms of back pain, including:

1) A dull pain in the lower part of the back
2) A stabbing or shooting pain which can radiate from foot to toe
3) Inability to stand without pain
4) Decreased range of motion and ability to flex the back becomes less

Symptoms of back pain, if caused due to stress or abuse, are usually short-lived, but can last for days or weeks.

Back pain is outdated when the symptoms are present for more than three months.

Symptoms of back pain that can indicate a serious problem

Check your doctor whether there is pain in the back within two weeks of development.

Symptoms that may indicate a more serious medical problem are:

1) Loss of bowel or bladder control
2) Sunnah, tingling, or weakness in one or both legs
3) Beginning after trauma, such as falling behind or jerking in the back
4) Acute, persistent pain which gets worse in the night
5) The presence of unexplained weight loss
6) Pain with throbbing stomach
7) Presence of fever

Back pain causes

The most common causes of pain in the lower back are the problems of stress and back structures.


Tensioned muscles often have back pain. Tension usually happens with the lifting of heavy objects and suddenly with strange movements.

Stress can also result from excessive activity. An example is soreness and stiffness, which occurs after playing a few hours yard work or playing a game.

Structural problems

Vertebrae are vertical interlocking bones on one another which make the backbone. Areas of disk tissue that cushion the space between each vertebra. 

Occasionally these discs can grow, henate, or break. Nerves can be compressed when this happens.

The herniated disk can be very painful. A bulging disc that suppresses the nerve, which goes back from under your feet and causes sciatica or irritation. Sciatica can be experienced in your feet:

1) pain
2) tingling

Osteoarthritis of the spinal cord is also a possible cause of back pain. This is due to damage and fall in the cartilage of joints in the lower part of your back.

The loss of bone density and thinning of bone, called osteoporosis, can cause small fracture in your vertebrae. These fractures can cause severe pain and are referred to as compression fractures.

Other causes of back pain

There are many other possible causes of back pain, but most of these are rare. Be sure to consult your doctor if you experience regular back pain, which is not far away.

After deciding the more common causes of back pain, your doctor will test to determine if you have any rare reason. These may include:

1) Displacement on the other side of a vertebrae body, called degenerative spondylolisthesis
2) Loss of nerve function in the lower spinal cord, which is called Caduca ekinea syndrome (a medical emergency)
3) Backbone fungal or bacterial infection, such as staphylococcus, e. Coli, or tuberculosis
4) Cancer or non-molinant tumors in the spine
5) kidney infection or kidney stones

Back pain treatment

Many people will not need extensive treatment for back pain. Over-the-counter pain medicines are often enough.

In more severe cases, strong treatment may be necessary, but they are generally provided under your supervision by your doctor.


Most back pain episodes are relieved with anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), such as:

1) Ibuprofen (Motrin)
2) Naproxen (Elevation)

Painkillers, or analgesics, such as acetaminophen (Tylenol) are also an option, although they do not have anti-inflammatory properties.

Be careful with medicines such as kidney problems or ibuprofen when there is ulcer in the stomach.

Do not take more than the recommended dose of over-the-counter medicines without talking to the doctor, because these medicines may have serious side-effects even if taken incorrectly.

Other medication options include:

Topical rubbing and ointment

Topical products can be highly effective in reducing back pain. Many of these contain elements such as ibuprofen and lidokine, which have been found to work better than a placebo to relieve pain.


Opioids are strong pain medications that can be prescribed for more severe pain. These medicines, such as the combination of oxycodone (oxychrop) and acetaminophen and hydrocodone (Wikodynine), work to reduce the pain of the brain cells and the body.

However, due to the risk of addiction, opioid should be used with caution.

The rest of the muscles can also be used for low back pain, especially with muscle cramping pain. These medicines work on the central nervous system to reduce the pain.


Antidepresent and other medicines can sometimes be used for off-label treatment for back pain.

If pain in your back is severe, then your doctor can write amytreatylline, a tricyclic antidepressant, because it focuses on different parts of the pain response. It can also work better for antidepressant nerve related pain.

Steroid injection

Your doctor may also recommend cortisone steroid injections for severe back pain. However, pain relief from steroids injection usually lasted about three months.

The surgery

Surgery is a last resort and rarely requires it for back pain. It is usually reserved for structural abnormalities which do not respond to conservative treatment with medicines and medicines.

3) Calculation Tomography (CT) scan or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to assess your disks, muscles, ligaments, nerves and blood vessels
4) Bone scan for viewing abnormalities in bone tissue
5) Electromyography (EMG) to test nerve conduction

How to Stop Back Pain

These tips can help reduce back pain when this happens.

Take less

Heavy briefcases, laptop bags, suitcases and purses can add unnecessary tension and strain to your neck and spine.

Try to reduce what you need to carry, and use a bag that distributes weight equally, such as backpack. If you can, then use a bag with wheels to keep your back completely closed.

Do your original work

The muscles around your stomach and back help to keep you straight and take you through your physical activities. Strengthening them may reduce the chances of pain, stress or damage in your back.

Strengthen training workout with the main focus at least twice daily in your regular fitness routine.

Improve your currency

Bad posture can put unnecessary pressure and pressure on your spine. Over time, it can cause pain and damage.

Remind yourself to roll round your shoulders regularly and sit straight on your chair.

Change shoe

If you wear them frequently, high heels can damage your back. When you can choose comfortable, low heeled shoes. One inch maximum height is suggested.

Frequent stretch

The bridge

1) Lie on the ground with flat feet on the floor, different hip-width
2) With your hands, press your hands on the floor until you lift your buttocks slowly from the ground until your body is in a straight line. Keep your shoulders on the floor.
3) Lower below Rest for 1 minute.
4) Repeat 15 times.
5) Set 3.
6) Lie down on your stomach. Raise your arms above your head and make your feet straight behind you.
7) Slowly raise your hands and feet from the ground. Start at a distance of about 6 inches from the ground and till you feel comfortable, go upstairs.
8) Push through your belly button to lift your legs and hands from the ground. Stop when you feel your lower back contract. To prevent the stress of neck, keep your head down, looking at the ground.
9) Hold your elongated seat for 2-3 seconds.
10) Return neutral and relax your muscles.
11) Repeat the stretch 10 to 12 times.
